Russian Zhostovo paintings are very special and unique, and the miniature floral artwork seen on this cross is no exception. The pinkish/purplish flowers were delicately painted on a cross-shaped mother-of-pearl gemstone. This gemstone cross is Approximately 1 1/4" long and about 3/4" wide.
