Тhe image of the Vladimir Mother of God is one of the most ancient and revered in Russia. The Vladimir icon of the Mother of God is considered the patroness of the Russian people and Russia itself. Actual Russian monks living and working in Sofrino monasteries crafted this Icon which features the Holy Mother Vladimirskaya and Baby. Also has incredible detail of various images surrounding the center image. On the top are two angels holding the crown. On four corners are St. Matthew the Apostle, St. John the Apostle, St. Mark the Apostle, and Sт. Luke the Apostle On both sides of the Mother of God are Аrchangel Michael and Аrchangel Gabriel. This decoupaged Icon is made in high-quality polygraphic with double layers of metallographic printing. It is pasted to the wood plate base. All icons from the Sofrino Monastery factory are blessed by the Russian Orthodox Church.
