Each thimble is carved out of solid piece of wood and hand-painted with Russian miniature painting technics, as it is done on Russian lacquer boxes. Every brush stroke is very detailed. On the rim of the thimble artist wrote "Зверюшки", which means "Small cute animals" in English. Very collectible thimble.
