This high quality wood-burned nesting doll from Russia features outstanding depictions of Russian churches. In order from largest to smallest, the churches featured are as follows: Saint Basil's Cathedral (The Cathedral of Vasily the Blessed), Cathedral of the Assumption, Gate Church of the Transfiguration, Trinity Cathedral, Ivan the Great Bell Tower, Spasskaya Tower, Troitskaya Tower of Kremlin, The Church of the Holy Spirit, and The Chapel of the Pyatnitsky Well. The back of the largest doll is written: Moscow (Москва). The smallest doll features a simple golden cross. This completely hand-made nesting doll is a beautiful sight; texture and shades of dark and light from the Pyrography make this Russian doll a unique and exceptional piece of artwork.
