Crystal Glass for Tea Glass Holder

This lovely 24% leaded crystal glass for a tea glass holder (traditionally called Podstakannik, which literally means "under the glass") was made in and imported from Russia. Its size is designed to fit most Russian Tea Glass Holders, and its decorative design will bring beauty to any tea drinking party. Crystal contains lead oxide which makes it heavier than glass, as well as making it more lustrous and clear.

To avoid the cracking of the glass when pouring boiling water in it, put a metal spoon in the glass to conduct away some of the heat.
