This marvelous and admirable pendant features 4 Baltic amber stones and one turquoise stone set in sterling silver. It dates back to circa 1950th. It is approximately 2 1/2" x 2 1/8" x 3/8" in size and it is truly a one-of-a-kind. Each of the five stones was hand-cut to follow the natural shape of the stone. Then, each stone was set into a custom-made sterling silver frame. The five frames were then joined together and a cleverly hidden bail was attached to wear this cross as a pendant, or hang it along a wall. The pairing of natural amber and turquoise is timeless.
There is a crack in the amber stone that is on the top of the pendant. This crack happened naturally and will be sold "as is" at a discounted price. The amber stone that has a crack is well secured with a bezel setting, which encircles all of the gemstone with a strip of silver metal.
