This Vintage Traditional Russian "Podstakannik" (under the glass) Tea Glass Holder (circa 1960) is made of aluminum. It is an Old Russian tradition, drinking tea from a glass with a Tea Glass Holder "Podstakannik". The metal absorbs the heat of the boiling water so the glass never breaks and the tea is kept warm.
