Russian Hats

Along with the ushanka, Russia has also had a name for itself by producing some of the worlds best fur hats. Given the harsh winters and the vast open land that Russia has to offer it is no wonder why people here have been trapping animals to cloth their bodies for generations. Animal fur is a practical and historically cheap way to keep warm in the middle of winter. Today, however, fur is not cheap, but the winters are just as cold.
