Many Zhostovo platters are known for their jet black base, but this particular small tray has a dark pink or mauve color base that is quite darling. This 9" x 6 3/4" tray also has a scalloped edge and a golden border known to Russians as "uborka." A signature by the artist on the front and a heavy lacquer finish completes this functional art piece.
